The links on the RF-MRBTAD and RF-BCDM4 pages will take you to these most updated drivers and software here. The latest Broadcom drivers and software have been tested and verified to work for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 by our engineering team. When you download the Broadcomm software, are you saving to disk before running it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've been stumped for hours!ĭo you have anything besides your phone that you could attempt to connect via Bluetooth? I'm on Windows 7 and I'm trying to stream music from my galaxy s4 to my pc. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when I first plugged the dongle into my comp there was an error with downloading the bluetooth peripheral device drivers or whatever, but I found a fix (not sure if it's working but it no longer shows a yellow box with exclamation point next to the bluetooth peripheral device icon in device manager) and now it seems to be fine with that part.
Then an error message pops up saying "failed to update Bluetooth Software." or along the lines of that. So I found the driver online from broadcam, which is linked from this website, and when I try to download the driver, it shows up with the normal download status and it passes the detection process but stops at the validating process.
I just picked up this bluetooth dongle from bestbuy today, and I plugged it in and after I tried to install the driver through the provided cd, it seemed like it wasn't doing anything.
